
This graphic detailed the May 14, 1988, Kentucky school bus crash. Larry Mahoney, 34, drove his black Toyota pickup down the wrong side of southbound I-71 head-on into a school bus loaded with children from the Radcliff First Assembly of God Church, which was returning from an outing at Kings Island amusement park. The bus burst into flames, killing 27. It is the nation's worst drunken-driving accident.
